Weak Magnetization but Beautiful Multichrome Topper
This has the same issue to the 5D Blue/Violet Magnetic Pigment. Compared to Metallic Ice and any of the 5D UCC magnetic pigments, I had to use a lot more of this pigment in my suspension base and still found it very hard to magnetize. The pigments barely reacted to my 30lb horseshoe magnet, and was even harder to create a cat eye. This seems to be a consistent issue with magnetic pigments sold here for about $2. The $6-$10 pigments do not have this issue. Because of my good experience with the other magnetic pigments, I don't think it’s user error. It’s still usable as a multichrome topper. It’s quite beautiful. I’m just disappointed because I love magnetics. Lastly, it is more usable over darker colors. When used on light colors like white, the pigment tint the base polish a brownish color so it’s not clear like Metallic Ice would be.
